Creating a Warm Mississippi Welcome with a Rosetta Hardscapes Entryway and Patio
The Challenge: Searching for the Right Welcome
Meet Jo and one of the warmest, most inviting entryways in Brandon, Mississippi. In Jo’s neighborhood, community members are active, often pausing to say hello or join her for a catch-up right on her front porch. With an expertly crafted paver patio and walkway, her home has effortless curb appeal—but it didn’t start out that way. Jo went through numerous front entrance designs through the years, trying to DIY her way to a comfortable look. It wasn’t until she saw a Rosetta Hardscapes social media post that she realized the potential for her front porch could be much more.
With a friend in the hardscape industry, Jo reached out to Martha Hill, PLA, from Mississippi Rosetta Hardscapes producer and installer, Earthscape Supply, to design and construct a space that would boost her home’s curb appeal and give her an inviting and lasting place to relax.
The Solution: A Thoughtful Rosetta Hardscapes Transformation
Martha designed a Rosetta Hardscapes paver patio and walkway for Jo’s house, which included:
- 300 sq ft (27.8 sq m) of Grand Flagstone pavers installed in patio and walkway areas
- Belvedere Coping borders
- Belvedere Wall block to create a leveling pad for the walkway and patio
- A custom Rosetta regional color palette: “Natchez Limestone”
- Rich, natural stone-like textures from Rosetta’s precast blocks complement the home’s traditional architecture and lush green lawn
Installation was completed in 1 ½ weeks, and Martha, the project’s landscape architect, utilized the Rosetta Hardscapes Technical Guide and additional design resources to supplement the design process and support the installation team in the field.

Martha and the Earthscape Supply team worked closely with the contractor to ensure the project remained true to its original design and assisted with any installation challenges to keep the job running smoothly.

Whether she’s handing out Halloween candy or catching up with a friend over tea, Jo’s new patio has become a space that brings people together. The smooth paver path invites guests in, while the warmth and character of Rosetta’s Grand Flagstone create a patio where memories are made season after season. With the right team of designers, producers, and installers guiding the process, Jo created an outdoor space that her family, friends, and the occasional cordial neighbor will continue to enjoy.
