Cool Comfort and Character: Linear Flagstone Pool Deck in Jackson, GA

Hey, everybody! Hardscape Nate here out on a Linear Flagstone project. I'm an hour south of Atlanta. It's raining out, but it's not stopping us from checking this out from Kagle Landscape. It is beautiful. We've got this pool behind us with the hot tub flowing into it. We're at that temperature. I would like to dive into that, but this Linear Flagstone matches well with the way of the construction of the house, the architecture. I love the little bit of details. He's got these strip lights in there that match well with that linear. The detail in the construction over here, being able to use that Linear Flagstone cut down into a piece as the pool filter cover as well. So super awesome project, a little over eighteen hundred square feet. Product provided by Piedmont Precast, and I believe this was in their Southern Buff color. Just everything about the aesthetics of this project and the product here matching with the home, working with the natural landscape sitting here on this lakeside. Couldn't ask for a really, really a much better project to come take a look at on a rainy day. With our contractors, we tend to build a lot of trust. And with Kagle Landscaping, he entrusted that the Rosetta Hardscape would be not your typical product that is seen here in the Atlanta market. The homeowner wanted something that was different, not only aesthetically different, but cool to touch. So some of our pavers, especially the lighter pavers, are cool to touch. So the homeowner wanted something that was unique and different. So when Chris approached me about the project, we came to the conclusion that linears would be the perfect aspect for this job. This project, it was a custom build. She had been working on this house for around two and a half years, and we were towards the end, so she decided she wanted to go with a pool. That was, an afterthought, honestly. We led towards, another style of pavers. They all just looked too industrial for her, which led us to this paver that was more of a natural look that she really liked that went with the flow of the house on this gigantic piece of property. I lose money when labor drags out. If I'm able to get in and get the product down faster and still give a completed good look, it's a win in every scenario. I'm out of the customer's hair and I'm saving money. That should be the goal on every job, honestly. That is why I like this product more than, that's why I like this product over the other ones. It's kind of the new thing. People don't want a industrial look concrete on their property anymore. So, having an alternative to give them is a really a cool thing. And not being stuck in a prefab paver that is a very controlled, very minimal option market, this gives you a lot of options there.
