After you have prepared a proper base, install the Kodah Fire Pit Kit in just 8 Steps:

• Place the Steel Insert as a Template Position and square the first two blocks.

• Set the First Block Leave a small gap at the steel insert for airflow. Hardscape Nate uses a “Grabbo” suction device to lift and position blocks easily.

• Set the Second Block Establish depth and square the layout, then complete the first course, aligning tapered edges.

• Remove the Steel Insert Sweep off the first course to prepare for the second course. Do not apply adhesive at this point.

• Level the First Course Ensure it sits on the base material (not bedding sand).

• Install the Second Course Stagger joints (“breaking the bond line”) and align finished edges/tapers.

• Test-fit the Insert Again Make any adjustments with a rubber mallet.

• Apply Adhesive to the Second Course Use Type 3.1 SuperWET for optimal bonding in wet or dry conditions.
