Wall Design and Installation Made Simple with Outcropping

Hi. This is Gerry Garcia with Rosetta Hardscapes. We're at another Kings material project. This one's in Ankeny, Iowa, and this was done by Country Landscapes. Country Landscapes has done numerous installations utilizing the Outcropping wall system as well as the Grand Ledge all throughout the state of Iowa. It's really great to see their creativity and design aspect present in all their installations. As you can see, there's a lot of curvature, really gives it more of that natural feel. It's something that I'd highly recommend if you're looking at designing a wall with Outcropping. Utilize a little bit of bend here and there. It really adds to the natural element. It really helps with kind of the meandering of the terrain around here as well. This is actually the third property that this homeowner has used Rosetta on. It's a product they have fallen in love with. They liked the idea of being able to set this house in the woods and Rosetta gave them that kind of rural look that they were looking for. Rosetta has a wall app layout and so it allows us to go ahead and lay the blocks out as needed to fit the particular situation of the job. In this particular instance there were some tight radiuses that we needed to maneuver around and so that was the nice flexible thing we were able to do. The nice thing about Rosetta is it allows you to do things in an engineered way to get the aesthetic you still want to have with a natural product. We're able to engineer things a little better than what you can with natural stone. Another tip to anyone that's interested in installing their first Outcropping wall system is don't be intimidated by the predetermined complexity. Yes, we have multiple sizes and multiple pallets and units, but there are tools and resources readily available for you that help with understanding that in a much simpler way. First one is the layout app that we have on our website. It's free to use. It's a great way for you to be able to design your wall to the dimensions that you're looking to work with. So if you're working from a fixed point, you're not going piece by piece. You're looking for efficiency. Utilizing that layout program will help gain you some of that efficiency by not having to figure a pattern on-site. You already have it all predetermined before. Secondly, I would highly recommend that you reach out to your local Rosetta producer or your local distributor that sells Rosetta. They can get you connected with their sales reps in that market as well as getting connected with our staff and tech support team. Utilizing those resources and leveraging that will help you with the planning and simplifying the process.
