How to Install the Dimensional Fire Pit Kit: Video Instruction

In this video, Rosetta Hardscapes expert Hardscape Nate walks you through the seven steps to install the Dimensional Fire Pit Kit as a wood-burning feature. Dimensional Fire Pit satisfaction in just 7 Steps:

  • Prepare the Site Ensure base materials are properly compacted and gather all necessary materials.

  • Dry Fit the First Course of Blocks Place the stainless steel insert on your prepared base. Starting in a front corner, begin laying your blocks around the insert. Be sure to maintain a small gap between the blocks and insert to allow for proper air circulation when the fire is burning.

  • Check, Adjust, and Level the First Course Use a mallet to make adjustments and ensure tight joints and alignment. Use a level to ensure blocks are flat and even. Remove the insert to continue.

  • Install the Second Course Offset the second course to break bond lines. Make adjustments along the way if needed.

  • Apply Adhesive Remove blocks one at a time to apply adhesive between the first and second courses. Allow adhesive to set briefly before continuing.

  • Add the Third and Final Course Lay all blocks, starting in the opposite orientation and staggering joints. Make adjustments. Apply adhesive and secure the third course to the second.
