Belvedere Fire Pit bliss in just 9 Steps.

  • Prep Your Base Ensure your base is level and compacted before you begin. This sets the foundation for a clean, successful build. Not sure what type of compaction equipment you need? Check out: Equipment for Installing Rosetta Hardscapes: Skid Loaders and Compactors

  • Organize Materials Set aside your wall blocks and coping units from the pallet. Keep your steel insert nearby—it’ll serve as a helpful guide for layout and spacing. If you are outfitting this kit with an optional gas insert (available separately), now would be the time to ensure that you have the necessary materials and a professionally installed gas line.

  • Use the Block Layout Template To identify and lay out blocks correctly, refer to the included Belvedere Fire Pit Kit Block Layout Pattern. The color-coded guide makes it easy to follow.

  • Lay the First Course Start with the 6 in (25.4 mm) “B” and “A” blocks, forming a circle around the insert while keeping a 2 in (50.8 mm) air gap. Adjust as needed to maintain even spacing. Do not apply any adhesive at this point.

  • Dry-Fit and Adjust Before gluing, dry-fit each course to ensure proper alignment and height. The natural stone textured face of Belvedere helps conceal minor shifts.

  • Install the Second Course Continue using the installation pattern guide to stagger joints and build vertically. Ensure the insert sits just inside the wall and is not pinched by the coping.

  • Apply Adhesive and Stack Once each course fits properly, apply quick-set hardscape adhesive between layers. Double-check vertical alignment as you go.

  • Set the Coping Units Follow the schematic to alternate coping sizes around the top ring. Make sure the coping units rest over the wall, not over the insert.

  • Finalize the Build Finish with adhesive on the coping layer. Recheck the insert placement, ensuring it sits below the caps and has that all-important 2 in (50.8 mm) air gap.
