Business Development Manager
Your primary goal in this role will be to close new business opportunities by establishing and building relationships with prospects, coordinating start-up requirements, developing and negotiating contracts, and growing the network of Rosetta Hardscapes licensed manufactures.
You’ll use your high-end business intelligence, in tandem with our world-class supporting departments, to grow this business by prospecting for potential new clients to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.

This is a full-time, permanent position with competitive compensation and health benefits. We also offer a 401K matching program, tuition reimbursement, and vacation.
Hours will be flexible as you travel to a large potential client base throughout North America. As a family business, we value family and encourage our people to strive for work/life presence. This position could be located in our downtown Grand Rapids office, but we’re open to remote applicants working out of a home office in other locations.

3-5 years of sales experience in business development
Ability to build rapport quickly
Ability to forecast sales targets, track and record activity, and close
Experience implementing business development strategies
Experience managing a long sales cycle
Experience using knowledge of the hardscape market and competitors to identify and develop unique selling propositions and differentiators.
Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred
Ability to travel 25 - 30 weeks/year
Basic computing and presentation skills
Clean criminal record and credit history
